About the Founder

Hi, I'm Isabelle.

If you've found your way here, chances are you and/or your ancestors walked through some challenges in your lives. I was born in a small country town to first-generation migrant parents—my father from the Netherlands and my mother from the Philippines. When I was five, my father passed away unexpectedly, leaving my mother to raise two young daughters in a country and culture she barely had time to understand before my father's untimely passing. I was marked by resilience from an early age, but also marked by an early sense of responsibility to myself, community, and others.

By age 14, I became a mother. By 19, I had three children. Despite the challenges, I remained committed to my education and to being present for my children—always prioritising my energy and effort to their wellbeing above everything else. But life continued to test me. I navigated relationship breakdowns, professional setbacks, and the deep pain of watching my children struggle with many of these dips in life.

Through it all, I studied psychology—not as an escape, but as a way to understand myself and others more deeply. In my work as a disability support practitioner, I discovered something profound: the power of genuine connection, intuitive understanding, and the ability to communicate beyond words. Working with children who couldn't speak taught me that healing happens through presence, not just clinical intervention.

My own journey with undiagnosed neurodivergence, combined with significant life challenges, eventually led me to a breaking point. In that darkness, I turned to Tarot—not as a replacement for therapy, but as a tool for self-reflection and clarity when I needed it most. What started as curiosity became a doorway to a deeper understanding of myself.

Over time, I discovered I had abilities I didn't know I possessed—mediumship, intuitive insight, and a natural capacity to hold space for others' healing. Through meditation, study, and working with other practitioners, I came to understand that these gifts weren't separate from my psychology background—they were an extension of it. They were about understanding the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and lived experience. My family are healers by nature. During my own healing journey, I realised that my entire life—every struggle, every loss, every moment of resilience—had been preparing me for this work. Not to fix others, but to walk beside them with genuine compassion.

My Journey to Support Others

I'm passionate about supporting spiritual people who feel misunderstood or isolated in their beliefs. Whether you're exploring mediumship, tarot, energy work, or simply trusting your intuition, I believe your spiritual path is valid and worth exploring. My role is to help you integrate that spirituality into your life with confidence and clarity, without shame—and to remind you that you're not alone on this journey.

Why EQ Flow Exists

EQ Flow was born from lived experience. It exists to transform pain into purpose and to help you discover wholeness, personal power, and genuine wellbeing—unique to your individual journey.

This work is about cultivating emotional intelligence and personal empowerment in a world that often asks us to disconnect from our truth. It's about healing without shame, learning to feel without fear, and rising with clarity and compassion.

Tarot, mediumship, life coaching, and energy work are tools I use—but this work goes deeper. It's about you, your relationships, your community, and the return to yourself.

I'm here to walk beside you, not to fix you, and to remind you of what's always been within you: strength, wisdom, and your own inner ability to find equilibrium.

I believe in you, your success, and your potential in life always.
